APPLICATIONS: Cranes, Shovels, Draglines, Clam Shell Equipment, Mining Hoist, Dredges, Winches, Forging/Stamping Presses.
WHEELING BRAKE BLOCK completes the product line with fabrication of brake and clutch bands. Our in house steel fabrication shop has rolling capacities of 8" drum 1" wide to 220" drum diameter with 20" wide up to 2" thick. Burning thickness up to 14" thick with heat treat facilities. Stress relieving capacity up to 100" drum diameters. Assembly department installs any style friction material that the drawing calls for or what the customer needs require. Brake/Clutch bands fabricated from samples. All certified welders and machinist.
WHEELING BRAKE BLOCK offers, complete brake/clutch band assemblies. Mill certs, inspection reports, weld inspection reports are available before delivery. Rebuilding of damaged bands, rearcing or bands, rebuilt or new shoe assemblies. Proto-type fabrications, band ends and eyes and 1/2 sections available.
