Car can be sold in several ways. Some of these include:-

  • Car bazaars – these give car owners a chance of driving their car to the bazaar and selling it to the willing buyers on a one-on-one basis.
  • Advertisement in the dailies – This gives the owner the chance to have a one-on-one discussion with the buyers.
  • Word of mouth – friends and relatives are some of the best marketing tools to use when selling a car.

When selling your car, it is important to make sure all the paper work is in order and all the insurance and other costs are paid up-to date. Most buyers will have to go and do a search at the motor vehicles registry and if these are not in-order, the sale process might not be quicker as should be. As a car owner/sell it is important to find out from others the asking price of the model of the vehicle at the time of sale. Competitive selling is quite important and necessary. It will not only give one a better bargaining price it will also enable the buyer pocket more money.
When selling a car, it is important to spice it up, have it cleaned out, vacuum and if possible polish it. Car buyers usually make their mind at the first viewing of the car. It is also important to have a full valuation report of the car for interested buyers. Have all the small mechanical problems repaired before putting it out on sale.
