Is There Truth To The Myth about Cars Designed Just for Ladies?

Lady drivers and cars designed for ladies would be a joke, except for many, it isn’t. Women have extraordinary needs for space, power steering, and fuss-free driving. Not many are mechanically inclined and know their way around an engine so it’s important that the car is also reliable and very unlikely to break down. Many say that they prefer a car that doesn’t sit low because they want to have good visibility. Also, it has got to be fuel efficient so they’re not constantly pulling into a gas station to re-load.
With this in mind, some car experts from London got together and put a list of the top cars that women tend to prefer. If they have no idea what to get, then this is the list that should be recommended.

Not surprisingly, most of the cars they picked are Japanese brands. At the top of the list, for instance, is the Honda Civic. This car has got to be the most popular economy car in the world. It’s everywhere! They are relatively inexpensive and they run like clockwork. As an investment, it’s great because of its high resale value. In fact the older models have the distinct advantage over the newer Civics in terms of better and more heavy-duty knobs for A/C controls and other switches.

Next is the Honda Fit which is a subcompact with a lot of trunk room. It’s perfect life in the city where roads are narrow and tight.  It has automatic transmission which doesn’t seem to make a dent on fuel consumption which should be one of the top reasons for buying this car.

Other cars on the list are the Mazda 3, Miata, Mercedes-E Class, Nissan Sentra, and the Forester. These cars are not known to be a woman’s car because you will see quite a number of very male drivers not bothered to be seen driving any one of these cars.

The myth that some cars are only meant to be driven by women is completely made-up. Just look around.
