NA-2222 has replaced out asbestos formula AS-B-11. The dynamic friction characteristics, of NA-2222 has excellent holding power when brake or clutch is in the cold friction mode. Used today on many lift crane applications and semi duty cycle machines. NA-2222 molds and machines well for keylock and nut insert style brake blocks. This material is also used in conjunction with other formulas as a part of "Combination Friction Sets." Staggered with high or low friction blocks even with woven lining NA-2222 will perform well on small or large drum diameters.
